Each individual disc is contained in a cardboard sleeve with the album artwork on the front and track listing on the back. All four discs are wrapped in an outer cardboard slipcase to complete the set.

This is how electronic music from the 21st century should be. The innovation of production but with electronic music which doesn't lose its emotion. Unfortunetely, it has almost generally been the case.Pretty Lights was my first major discovery in music. Back in 2008 to be precise, when I was a young teenager. I remember like it was yesterday. I was lost in the YouTube world for some reason and I felt by accident on this masterpiece called "More Important Than Michael Jordan". From then on, I really started to build my own musical universe, the soundtrack of my dreams.For this specific product now, we are therefore in presence of the 4 first albums released by the great Derek Vincent Smith and proposed here on CD format. This is where what Mr. Smith call himself "electro/hip-hop/soul" started.His first release "Taking Up Your Precious Time" from 2006 is very chill-out and downtempo. It contains the famous "Finally Moving" that brought to Pretty Lights a beginning of fame. Relaxing and soulful, it's a light and melodious trip.Two years later, he did the double album "Filling Up The City Skies". The first CD has a heavy jazz and soul influence, however the second one moves into an electro vibe. "Hot Like Sauce" proves it very well.At last, "Passing By Behind Your Eyes" has an incredible funky atmosphere that makes it the most danceable CD above the three others. It contains my personal PL anthem "Sunday School", which samples Biggie's voice into a more industrial & hip-hop song.This man was on another level back in the day, and he still is today. It's just a pity that he releases only one album every four-five years.Anyway, let's notice that he offers most of his music for free on his website, with the donation option available in order to finance his projects.At last, thanks to these 4 gems, you have about 5 hours of stunning M-U-S-I-C. Isn't life beautiful ?If you want his releases on physical version, I recommend this, his three EP's from 2010 and his 2013 album "A Color Map Of The Sun". Have a cool musical voyage !
