Ironrunner
L.T.D. gave up the "Flower Children" style and got to "Gittin' Down" on this one. Still not at that polished sound they were known for, but on this record, you can see they were on their way. With the departure of female vocalist "Celeste Cole", Jeffrey Osborne became the main vocal outlet for the group, and that would prove to be what makes the group move into the stratosphere. "Gettin' Down", just like their first album, was very much overlooked, and that was a crime to music. Not better than the first, but it didn't matter, it was the foundation to their popularity.
